When: Thursday, March 6 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

*Signup will occur at the Live DEMOlition Event® on a first-come, first served basis. Participants must be registered for the Annual Convention & Expo to be eligible.

Challenge Components

The Operator's Challenge is a timed skills competition where operators demonstrate their expertise, precision, speed, and versatility with Liebherr equipment through three distinct stages, under time pressure.

Challenge Stages (5 minute time limit)

Hammer Challenge: Demonstrate hydraulic hammer precision and proper quick-coupler operation
Processor Challenge: Complete 5 open/close cycles on material with processor attachment
Basketball Challenge: Test fine control by making 3 basketball shots with increasing point value

Scoring System:

Each operator starts with 100 points maximum
After 3 minutes, 5 points are deducted for every 15 seconds that passes
The time limit is strictly 5 minutes
Points are deducted for specific errors in each stage

Prizes:

1st Place: All-inclusive stay at Kingsmill Resort and Golf in Williamsburg, VA (winner's choice of weekend)

2nd Place: Liebherr Carhartt jacket and Liebherr toy model

3rd Place: Liebherr toy model
