Fitchburg unveils vision for block grants

"It's a pretty good plan," said Community Development Executive Director Tom Skwierawski. "There's always difficult decisions to make, but we made some smart investments."

Funding requests from January were about $1.43 million for 25 projects. The number of requests and funding were pared down after a Planning Board public hearing and reviews from the mayor and City Council. Read more here.
