NDA LEADERSHIP RECRUITMENT OPEN

The NDA is now accepting letters of interest from members in good standing who are enthusiastic about contributing meaningfully to the interests, initiatives, and projects that will take our association to the next level. We are accepting applications for Director at Large and Treasurer positions. Find a Director at Large job description here.

Director-at-Large: Applications due September 19, 2024
  • All applicants must be members in good standing for the 2024/2025 Membership Year (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) and throughout their tenure.
  • All applicants must be willing to serve for a three-year term.
  • Prior NDA committee involvement and/or Board meeting attendance is required.
  • All applicants must agree to NDA bylaws in their entirety, specifically noting Article III, Section 2 (subparagraph b) and attend quarterly, in-person Member Meetings/Board Meetings. Average spend per annum is ~$10,000.
    • Article III, Section 2 (subparagraph b) - It is expected that Directors shall attend all scheduled meetings of the Board. If a Director is not able to attend a meeting, s/he must submit a written letter explaining his/her absence to the President for submission to the Board for review during the meeting in question. If a Director is not able to attend two (2) Board meetings, it is expected he or she shall submit their resignation to the Board. The Board reserves the right to remove a Director for (2) absences or for any other reason in its discretion.
  • All terms will begin following Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors at Demolition New Orleans, March 4, 2025.
Treasurer: Applications due September 19, 2024
  • All applicants must be members in good standing for the 2024/2025 Membership Year (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).
  • All applicants must be willing to serve for a two-year term.
  • Prior NDA committee and board participation required.
  • All applicants must agree to NDA bylaws in their entirety, specifically noting Article III, Section 2 (subparagraph b) and attend quarterly, in-person Member Meetings/Board Meetings. Average spend per annum is ~$10,000.
    • Article III, Section 2 (subparagraph b) - It is expected that Directors shall attend all scheduled meetings of the Board.   • At the completion of the two-year term as Treasurer, the Treasurer will be eligible to serve as the Secretary for a two-year term, for Vice President for a two-year term, President for a two-year term, and finally as Past President for a two-year term for a total of ten years of service.
  • All applicants must attend quarterly, in-person Board meetings and participate in weekly Executive Board conference calls.
  • Term will begin following Demolition New Orleans, March 4, 2025.
